Sourdough Stollen

Over the years we've perfected our recipe for sourdough Stollen; this lovely German Christmas bread is piled with plump soaked fruit. We prefer marzipan chunks kneaded through the dough to the very traditional marzipan log in the middle for more chewy baked marzipan in every bite. Finished with melted butter and that traditional snowy sugar coat Stollen has a crumb that dries as it matures, delicious toasted! Our Stollen has a three week shelf life so preorder for a date closer to Christmas for the freshest possible batch if you'd like yours for the big day itself.
